In 1999, fishing aficionado and Billfish Foundation Co-founder Ralph “Agie” Vicente, decided to purchase a new Hatteras, when the factory made a wise decision to elect him as the Dealer for Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic, and Antilles Yachts (AY) was born also the name of the very well known “HATTERICAN”.
In mid 2012, Jose R. Vicente, previously Director of Sales of Hatteras and CABO for Latin America, teamed up with his father to keep the tradition, of what has been Agie’s secret of success, which is “selling boat to friends”.
